of products that facilitate the personalised
delivery and retrieval of personal and corporate
knowledge within the desktop, the enterprise and

SERkmware is a powerful and truly scalable
suite of knowledge management products that
delivers knowledge to people, wherever and
whenever they need it to optimise decision-making.
SERkmware
provides the facility to undertake two fundamental
operations: the retrieval of knowledge from a data
repository or knowledge base; and the
categorisation of information into views that
allow users to organize their PC as their role or
project evolves.
This capability is provided by SERbrainware,
an award-winning learning engine that understands
the meaning and context of information, regardless
of format or content.
Associative
Search
Within SERbrainware is the capability for free
text retrieval, based on the Associative Search
functionality.
This search is not keyword or rule based,
but content sensitive, which could be a phrase or
a paragraph from a document.
This ensures that users find the right
information they are looking for, in the
appropriate context, as opposed to a deluge of
inappropriate information that is commonplace with
keyword searches.
Knowledge-enabled
Classification
With
SERkmware users can create multiple personalised
views and profiles of the same data or knowledge
base, utilising the ‘learn by example’
features of SERbrainware.
This enables users to project a
personalised view of information held on their
desktop, on a corporate intranet, or even on the
internet. With
SERkmware, changing, or adapting these profiles
can be done in a matter of seconds with a few
mouse clicks.
